Illinois State Wine Competition Winners

SRJX recently entered the 2021 Illinois State Fair Wine Competition and is bringing back some hardware!

Every wine we entered medaled at the competition, which is quite an achievement for the first year. Here’s the complete list:

Double Gold – Cherry (Best of Class)
Gold – Junction White
Silver – Spoon River Red, Concord, Junction Rosé, Forgottonia Vermouth 
Bronze – Honey Apple

While nothing’s more important to us than making wines people enjoy, it’s still nice to see some objective feedback from a panel of industry professionals, who conducted blind evaluations of around 300 wines at the competition this year. These are our first medals, but certainly won’t be our last!
